Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation
Black Women under age 45 get Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) at four times the rate of Caucasian women. They have very low awareness of this very fatal disease and do not readily take advantage of early detection tactics.
In addition to a mass publicity campaign, we built a partnership between NAFEO (National Association for Equal Opportunity), Immunomedics and the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation to pilot an outreach campaign on HBCU campuses. The campaign was funded and executed at Spelman and Bowie State University. Programming included seminars, walks, and a paid student ambassador program. The program is being expanded across the HBCY network.
